Rodney M. Tolman, Jr of Hingham May 27, beloved husband of Nancy (Thayer) Tolman. Brother to Thomas Tolman of Natick, . Father to Michael Tolman of Marlborough, Susan (Tolman) Kamel of Highland,NY, Melissa (Tolman) Walker of Wareham, Pamela (Tolman) Vasques of Falmouth and the late Peter Tolman. Grandfather of Derek Tolman, David Perce, Jennifer Kamel, Holly Cordero, Kristy Tolman, Nicole Tolman, Amanda Walker, Brad Walker, Antonina Vasques and Sergio Vasques. He attended the University of Bridgeport before joining the Air force in the Korean War. Retired from Norelco division of Phillips Business systems were he worked in sales. He and his wife have been enjoying their retirement together cruising Cape Cod and the Islands by summer and wintering in Naples Florida playing golf. He was a member of Sharon Country Club for over 45 years were he enjoyed playing golf and cards. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Critical Care Unit at South Shore Hospital, 55 Fogg Road, South Weymouth, Ma. 02190 Attention Foundation. Memorial Service will be held Friday June 1st at Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel of Hingham, 21 Pond Street at 11am and a reception after at the South Shore Country club.
