Milda Rivers, age 80, of Broxton, GA passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Lumber City Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Rivers was born on August 18, 1931, in Douglas, GA to Fred Lewis and Eliza Jane Lott Lewis.
Survivors include: her husband, Olin Emory Rivers, of Broxton, GA; one daughter, Polly Ann (Jimmy) Young, of Pridgen, GA; one son, Robert (Wanda) Rivers, of West Green, GA; four grandchildren, Mark Rivers, Johnny Rivers, Sonia Batten, and Jimmy Young, Jr., thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 6-9 pm.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Broxton Baptist Church with Rev. Freddy Gardner and Rev. Gary Clements officiating. Interment followed at Broxton City Cemetery.
