Obituary

CHESTER EVERETT KEITH, 95, passed away Thursday May 24, 2012 at Norton Hospital Brownsboro.

He was born in Cincinnati, OH to Cortice Everett and Mallisia M. (Embry) Keith.

Chester was a retired Upholsterer at Ford Motor Co., Louisville Assembly plant with 41 years service.

He was very active in the United Auto Workers and was a member of the old Oakdale Methodist Church.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 71 years, Eva Gladys (Taylor) Keith, who passed away March 3, 2009; a beautiful granddaughter, Trevya Nicole Younger; and seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Shirley L. Younger; a grandson, William Sergy Younger (Jacqueline); and two great-grandchildren, Nicole and Sebastian; two brothers, Rev. Ray Keith and Emmett Keith; two sisters, Elsie Brockman (Jerry) and Betty Lempke (Bob).

Funeral service will be noon on Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. on Monday.
