Mary Evelyn Ray Workman, 77, of Clarksville, TN, died on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. She was born on November 28, 1934 in Hardensburg, Kentucky to the late William Brown Ray and Martha Elizabeth Whitehouse Ray.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 2 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Skip Armistead officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 5-8 PM and Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 12 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Mary was a retired real estate broker. She was also a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Workman of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Max Workman of Shelbyville, IN and Rodney Workman of Clarksville, TN; a daughter, Susan Workman of Atlanta, GA; a brother, James Edward Ray (Martha) of Lynchburg, VA; two sisters, Sara Alice Ray and Dorothy Ray Damiano of Huntington, CT; a grandson, Colin Workman of Shelbyville, IN; a great grandchild, Anna Marie Workman of Shelbyville, IN; and twenty-four nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brad Workman, Ben Workman, Bob Workman, William Workman, Colin Workman, Jerry Ray, Fletcher Schrock, David Ussery, and Mitch Monday.
