Mrs. Phyllis Jackson
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, May 25, 2012, Mrs. Phyllis Jackson, 94, wife of the late Mr. James K. Jackson.
After retiring from the Sacramento School System, Mrs. Jackson moved to Augusta in 1996 to be near her family. She was full of life, fun and a joy to be around. Mrs. Jackson helped raise her five great nephews: Jonathan (Ingrid), Matthew, Stephen, Ben, and Michael Wilson. She was an active member of Lake Park Baptist Church in Augusta. For the last five years she lived at Elmcroft Assisted Living. The family wishes to thank the staff at Elmcroft for their loving care.
Family members include niece: Lela Donat of Springdale, AR and nephew: Walter Wilson (Jeannine) of Augusta, GA.
A graveside service will be held out of state at a later date.
In lieu of flowers charitable contributions may be made to Lake Park Baptist Church, 211 Milledge Road, Augusta, GA 30904, where she was well loved.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, May 29, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Elmcroft Assisted Living, 515 The Pass, Martinez, GA 30907.
