Paul Miele, age 89, of Tewksbury passed away Monday in the Saints Memorial Medical Center Lowell after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Miele was born in Somerville, the son of the late Marco and Vincenza (Decellis) Miele. He retired from the First National Warehouse Maintenance Dept. after 31 years. He was a supporter of the Pine St. Inn and Boys Town. Enjoyed the track (Dogs & Horses), “ Didn’t bet much or lose too much.” Paul took extreme pride in his garden and he and his wife Anna spent time together ballroom dancing. His children described him as a “Devote” father, who loved his family.
He is survived by seven Loving children: Paul and his wife Mary Ann of Orlando, FL, Michael of Illinois, Nicholas of Lowell, Richard and his wife Mary of Somerville, Ann Marie Miele of Somerville, Barbara Muolo and her husband Joseph of Wilmington, Rita Miele and her husband Mark McGlinchey of Tewksbury. Also survived by 15 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great grandchildren, and a dear brother Nicholas Miele of Peabody.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Thursday at 9AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10AM . Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
