Rita C. Renaud 91, formerly of Willis Dr. died Thursday at The Holiday in Lincoln. She was the wife of the late Edgar J. Renaud. Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Blais) Langevin. Rita was a supervisor at Texas Instruments for fifteen years before retiring in 1983. She was a former member of the St Joseph Sr. Citizens and St. Louis Sr. Citizens.
Rita is survived by a son Dennis N. Renaud of Cumberland and two daughters Jacqueline M. Horton of Norton, MA and Nancy M. Pierel of Cumberland., six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Edgar Renaud who died in 2007, and eight brothers and sisters.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd. Cumberland, RI. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Tribute Program, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142 in her memory would be appreciated.
