Cleveland "Bo Bo" Hale, 58, of Georgetown died Friday, May 25, 2012, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 28, 2012, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Shane Lipp will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
Mr. Hale was born on October 25, 1953 in Tift County and was the son of Jewel Sylvester Hale and Grace McGhee Hale, both deceased. He was a retired carpenter and served in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Hale is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Willliam Benjamin Hale and Cleveland Jedadiah and Amanda Hale, both of Kentucky; one step-daughter and her husband, Mandy and Ricky Cline of Kentucky; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Billy Hale of Georgetown, Connie Buck and Cindy Hale of Shiloh and Norman Hale of Ocilla; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Julie Hale Kendrick of Woodland, Doris Hale Yancey of Tifton, Margie Hale Craven and her husband, W.J., of Jacksonville, Florida and Martha Hale O'Dell of Tifton; one grandson, Cleveland Lukas Hale; and two step-grandchildren, Bailey and Briley Cline.
