Anna T. Harrington, 87, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday May 23, 2012.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John J. and Mary F. (Coughlin) Harrington, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Miss Harrington was formerly employed by Revere Copper & Brass as office manager and payroll supervisor until her retirement in 1982.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School and Bryant College.
Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Community Nurse and Hospice Care and New Bedford Health Care Center for their kindness. A special thank you to Dr. Victor Mailey for his care, kindness, and support to Ann and her family over the years.
She is survived by her sister, Margaret Lanzillo of Troy, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Dr. John J. Harrington.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, Friday June 1, 2012 at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd. at 9 AM.
