HALL, Lucille (Slayton), 84, of Louisville went to be with her heavenly father Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Norton Hospital. She was the 12th child of 14. Lucille was born on March 24, 1928 in Magnolia, KY and the 12th child to Elie and Myrtle Slayton. She was a caring professional care giver for over 25 years and a dedicated Christian. She was involved in many outreach ministries and was a member of the "Piece Makers", Lucille and eight of her sisters made artician quilts that are displayed all over the world. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her son, Phillip Wayne Hall; four brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Robert Louis Hall; her loving children, Anita Nevitt (John), Ben Wilkins (Theresa), Pat Reynolds (Claude), and Gayle Lile; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one on the way.
A Celebration of her life will be held 10am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Kentucky. Visitation will be Friday 2-8 at the funeral home.
