Dorothy "Dottie" Jeanette Alexander Hardy, 81, of Clarksville, TN, died on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Signature Healthcare of Clarksville. She was born on May 5, 1931 in Montgomery County, TN to the late James W. Lee and Ester Moss Lee. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, T.C. Alexander and three brothers, Troyce Lee, Melton Lee, and Rudolph Lee.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 11 AM until the hour of service.
Dottie was a homemaker and a member of Cumberland Drive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her second husband, Lawrence E. Hardy of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Ted (Dillie) Alexander of Pleasant View, TN and Mike (Jennifer) Alexander of Clarksville, TN; a daughter, Vicky Alexander of Clarksville, TN; five grandchildren, Alexia Perkins, Bobby Wilson, Sharley Stith, Sara Alexander, Mikey Alexander; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mikey Alexander, Bobby Wilson, Timmy Tuberville, Jeremiah Stith, Stevie Lee, Sr., and Stevie Lee, Jr.
