Marie A. (Mucciarone) Vendetti, 86, of Franklin, died peacefully Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund C. Vendetti, Sr. who died in 2001.
Born in Franklin on February 7, 1926, a daughter of the late Amellio and Louise Mucciarone, she had been a lifelong resident of Franklin.
She was raised and educated in Franklin, where she was a graduate of Franklin High School and until her retirement she worked as a bookkeeper at the former Palmer House on Chestnut Street in Franklin.
Marie treasured time spent with her family, being in Onset, watching birds and reading. The family remembers Marie's great smile, giving heart and warm relationships. She was also a communicant of St. Mary's Parish in Franklin.
Marie is survived by her sons, Edmund C. Vendetti, Jr. and his wife Norma of Franklin, and Robert A. Vendetti of Onset; a daughter, Linda Enos and her husband Mike of East Falmouth; and a brother Anthony Mucciarone of Franklin.
She was the mother of the late Paula McCarthy and sister of the late Frank Mucciarone.
Also surviving are her grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Marissa and Matthew Vendetti, Malachy, Patrick and Sammie McDonnell and Rachel Vendetti. Marie is also survived by her great-grandchildren Jaykob Vendetti, Phillip Vendetti, Keegan and Sadie Murner.

Burial will be Tuesday, May 29th, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 11:00 AM.
