Ryan D. Hanscom, 43, passed away on May 17, 2012. Born in Beverly on September 8, 1968, he was the son of the late Douglas and Gail Marie (Greene) Hanscom. Prior to his illness, he had been a chef on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico for many years. He graduated with Honors from Niceville High School Florida, in 1986.
He was an avid baseball fan and loved music especially heavy metal.
He is survived by his grandmother Edith (Shaw) Greene of Danvers, his brothers, Jason Hanscom and wife Kim of Maryland, Jeremy Hanscom and companion Ruby Williams of Alabama and his sister Rori Cutrer and husband Todd of Germany, aunts Marcia Greene and Donna Swain of Danvers and nieces Alyssa Hanscom, Eireanne Cutrer, nephew Justin Hanscom and cousins Cameron and Patrick Swain. He is also survived by his godmother Paula Ferris of Danvers, his former wife Cherie Hanscom of Florida and dear friend Hayley Partridge from England. He also leaves his beloved cat, Tigey. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Hannah Paige.
