Gaudencio “Rocky” Rocaberte, 88 of Medford, died Monday peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at home.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Rocky served in the U.S. Navy for over 2 decades retiring as Chief Petty Officer First Class. Rocky continued his career as a chef, retiring from the Harvard Business School.
Beloved husband of Maxine M. (Frost) Rocaberte. Devoted father of John Rocaberte and his wife Donna of Medford, Linda Moore and her husband John of Methuen, Richard Rocaberte and his partner Paul Norris of Los Angeles. “Loving GrandPa” of Keri, Jack, Joey, Alex, Bella, Rocky, Ana, Charlie and Harry.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
