WILLIAM S. “BILL” EASTRIDGE, JR., 79, passed away on May 19, 2012.
Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was a retired employee of Anaconda Aluminum, past president of the Aluminum, Brick, and Glass Workers Union, and a member of Dixie Valley Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Spencer and Bertha Eastridge, his brothers, Willard and Edward Eastridge, and his son, Troy Lee Eastridge.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 57 years, Lovelle (Carr) Eastridge; his children,
Jo Ann Bragg (Alfonzo), William “Billy” Eastridge, and Tracey Kircher (Steven); grandchildren, Rachel, Samuel, Sarah, Daniel, Abigail, Andrew, Jesse, Kaylin, Patrick and Macey; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Isaiah, and Silas; and his sister, Naomi Neal.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, and 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Wednesday.
