New Bedford – John L. “Jersey John” Macaluso, 78, of Acushnet died after a long illness at St. Luke’s Hospital on April 22, 2004. He was husband of the late Irene (Kurchack) Macaluso.
He was born in Nesquehoning, PA and resided in Acushnet for the past 5 years. He was employed as an apartment manager by the Northgate Tenants Corp., Cranbury, NJ until his retirement in 1999.
Mr. Macaluso was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II, an avid New York Yankees fan and a workaholic.
Survivors include a daughter: Monica A. Heilbock of Acushnet; 2 sons: John A. Macaluso of Middletown, RI and David Macaluso of West Palm Beach, FL; a granddaughter: Alyssa Macaluso of West Palm Beach, FL; and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend:
A graveside service on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at the Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury, NJ.
