Rogers Cleveland Wallace, 88, of Clarksville, TN, died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Whitehaven Assisted Living. He was born on May 18, 1923 in Bumpus Mills, TN to the late Ora Cleveland Wallace and Mavis Walker Wallace. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Wallace, Roscoe Wallace, and Hugh Wallace.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 1 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 4-7 PM and Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 11 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Rogers owned Huddle Restaurant for 20 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII. He was also a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Wallace of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Ronnie (Donna) Wallace and Rickey (Tammy) Wallace of Clarksville, TN; five grandsons, Joel Wallace, Troy Wallace, Phillip Wallace, Matt Gibson, and Tavis Gibson; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joel Wallace, Troy Wallace, Ross Wallace, Gary Wallace, Matt Gibson, and Tavis Gibson.
