Billy Joe Hagewood, 72, of Clarksville, TN, died on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Southaven, MS. He was born on November 23, 1939 in Montgomery County, TN to the late Sterling Hagewood and Clemmie Davis Hagewood.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 1 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Entombment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 1-4 PM, Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 1-4 PM, and Monday, May 21, 2012 from 11 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Joe was a self-employed business owner.
He is survived by a brother, Averitt (Ella) Hagewood of Palmyra, TN; three sisters, Agnes Bryson of Texas, Helen Lewis, and Betty Lou Baggett of Southside, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Glasgow, Donald Hagewood, Sammy Hagewood, James Lewis, Donald Lewis, and Kenneth Thompson.
