Linda “Joann” Williams, age 57, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. Williams was born on February 23, 1955, to the late Quinn Vinson Tanner and Carolyn Carter Tanner in Nicholls, GA.
Survivors include: two daughters, Carolyn Williams and Leigh Ann Mc’Quaig, both of Waycross, GA; one son, Jared Scott (Amanda) Musgrove, of Douglas, GA; one brother, Vinson Tanner, of Douglas, GA; two grandchildren, three step grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother Tommy Tanner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service were held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 4 :00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Musgrove officiating. Interment followed at Roxie Mae Church Cemetery.
