Wilma Jordan, 94, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 26, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, with Rev. James Hubbard and Rev. Steve Hood officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 Sunday evening.
Mrs. Jordan was born October 23, 1909, in Telfair County, Georgia, to the late Otis Howard and Lula Kelly Wheelis. She had lived in the community most of her life. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and Missionary President. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Jordan, one brother, and two sisters.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by: two sons: Charles W. Jordan and Johnny Jordan, both of Fitgerald; two daughters: Elsie Jordan Wiggins of Fitzgerald and Barbara Jordan Randolph of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Olga Batts of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Horton of San Francisco, CA.
