Myron W. Osborne Jr., of Marshfield died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at The Jordan Hospital, Plymouth, MA following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Harriet B. Ludlow. Mr. Osborne was born March 26, 1922 Marshfield, MA to Myron W. Osborne & Edith M. Dill. Mr. Osborne was an avid golfer. He was a former member of North Hill Country Club & The Country Club of Halifax. He was a self-employed carpenter for most of his adult life. He served in the US ARMY, stationed in the southern Philippines & New Caledonia in the South Pacific. Myron was the loving father of Carolen Orndorff of Westford, MA, Kenneth W. Osborne and his wife Lee of Whitman, MA, Kevin W. Osborne and his wife Patricia of Plymouth, MA and Myron W. Osborne III of Marshfield, MA. He also leaves his grandchildren, LeAndra Paine, Jeannine Orndorff, Brian Osborne, David Osborne, Kimberly Staley, Joseph Osborne and 12 great-grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Edith Lyons of Brockton, MA. He was the brother of the late Eleanor Osborne, Earl Osborne, Gilbert Osborne and Viola Shalgian. He was the father of the late Elizabeth W. Osborne.
A memorial service will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. (Rte. 139), Marshfield, MA, Sunday May 20 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
