She graduated with honors from West High School in 1942, and went on to study at the Institute of Art and Sciences before working at the Currier Gallery of Art, all in Manchester, NH. Mary was an artist by all means, and her spirit embodied the essence of creativity and purity. She belonged to the international women's social, cultural and service organization, Beta Sigma Phi, and represented the organization honorably.
