Jeanne F.Ouellette, 64, of Lakeland, Florida, died April 29, 2012 at Palm Terrace Hospice House in Florida. She was the wife of Robert J. Ouellette.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Henry P. and Frances R. (Garvey) Petit. She had lived in Smithfield and North Providence before moving to Florida.
Jeanne was a registered nurse for 36 years and had worked at St. Joseph Health Services before retiring. She was a 1965 graduate of St. Patrick High School and a 1968 graduate of RI Hospital School of Nursing.
She enjoyed bingo and cards.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her siblings: David Petit of Niceville, FL, Kevin Petit, MD, of Milton, MA, Andrea Petit of South Yarmouth, MA and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Brian and Neill Petit.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday June 16, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc., PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220
