Obituary

WORCESTER – Mr. Joseph R. Hogan, 76, died Sunday May 13th.

He is survived by his devoted wife of fifty-six years, Elizabeth (Carey) Hogan, three brothers, Ralph E. Hogan and his wife Barbara of Worcester, Kenneth Hogan and his wife Bernadette of Worcester, Neal V. Hogan and his wife Sandra of Holden; two sisters, Mary R. Barrette of Webster, Ann B. Hogan of Worcester; a sister in law, Carol Hogan of Worcester; also many loved nephews, nieces, and friends.

Joseph was pre-deceased by his brothers, Eugene Hogan and Roger T. Hogan.

Joseph was co-founder and for thirty-five years manager of Worcester Airport Limousine Inc. Prior to that he worked in the petroleum industry in California and Connecticut.

He was born August 27, 1935 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late James Gillick Hogan and Bertha Rita ( Stearns) Hogan.

Joseph was educated in the Worcester schools until proudly serving in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean War.

He was a longtime member of the Main South Post, American Legion, the Elks Club of Worcester, and the Greendale Retired Men’s Club. He was an avid eclectic reader with special interests in national and international affairs. He had been an enthusiastic fisherman in earlier years and loved to travel. He will be missed.
