Obituary

Forbush, Donald R. of Hingham, passed away May 14, 2012.

Beloved husband of Patricia R. (Flynn) Forbush

Loving father of Bruce A. Forbush and his wife, Caroleigh, of Marstons Mills, Janet E. Townson and her husband, Lewis, of Plymouth, Heather J. Hatfield of Norwell, and Laura Jean Woodard and her husband, David, of Pembroke. Brother of Thelma R. Bornemann of Quincy, Elizabeth “Betty” Holland of Randolph, Roberta L. Murphy of Quincy and the late Roger W. Forbush, Jr. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Donald lived for many years in Quincy before retiring to Cape Cod. Until his retirement, he was a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for Instrumentational Laboratory in Lexington. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, painting, swimming, art work, sketching, and most especially the beach.

Donald was passionate about the Boston Red Sox and he was a season ticket holder for the Patriots. He and his family will always cherish the time spent up in Alton Bay New Hampshire. Donald was a family man and just adored his grandchildren and he will always be remembered by the good times they spent together.

He was also a World War II veteran serving with the United States Navy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
