Milton, GA - Mary A. (Mackey) Williamson, age 84, formerly of Wilmington, died Saturday, May 12, at the Gracemont Assisted Living Center in Cumming GA. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence F. Williamson, who died in 1981.
She was born in Tewksbury, January 4, 1928, one of five children of Edward J. and Margaret (Flemings) Mackey. She was raised in Tewksbury, and upon marriage moved to Dracut, and then Wilmington to raise her family. She moved to Anchorage, Alaska before moving to Georgia three years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Gail Williamson of Anchorage, AK; two sons, Donald Williamson and his wife Joey of Tyngsboro and Scott Williamson and his wife Dawna of Milton, GA; seven grandchildren, Marybeth Hogan, Jennifier Rzasa, Donald Williamson, Todd Held, Lawren Carter, Amanda Williamson, and Brian Williamson; eight great grandchildren, Scotty, Tavia, Mikey, Bridget, Emma, Katherine, Emily and Noah; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Charles Mackey, Francis Mackey, Doris Henault, and Margaret "Tootsie" Alleruzzo.
A Graveside Prayer Service was held Saturday, May 19, in the Richardson Cemetery, Broadway, Dracut. Memorials to American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701- 4688 will be appreciated.
