Vincent F. Zizzo – Age 80, of Medford, died on May 9, at the Massachusetts General Hospital following a brief illness. The beloved husband of Nancy (Ricciardi).
Son of the late Frances (Morana) and Frank Zizzo, Vincent was a lifelong Medford resident, a veteran of the Korean War serving proudly in the U.S. Army. After his discharge he worked for New England Confectionary as a machinist for many years, later holding a part time position with the Stop and Shop in Medford.
Along with his wife Nancy he is survived by his three sons, Frankie Zizzo and his wife Dorothy of Medford, Vinnie Zizzo and his wife Maryann of Revere, Paul Zizzo and his wife Mary of Medford, also his daughter Renee Keegan and her husband Jimmy of Stoneham. Loving PaPa to Frankie, Kerrianne, Tyler, Vinnie, Anthony, Paulie, Katelyn, Mikey Zizzo, Jimmy, Gregory, Zachery and Gabrielle Keegan. Loving great grandfather of Aria Zizzo. He was the brother of Angie Consolo of Everett, Marguerite Arrigo of Medford, Lenny Zizzo of Brockton and the late Tony Zizzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Monday, May 14, at 10 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
