Daniel "Dan" James Roberts, age 57 of Hopkinsville, KY, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on December 30, 1954 in Naples, Italy to the late Ralph J. Roberts and Betty McCormick Roberts.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 19th at 3 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Pastor Jimmy Stewart of Salem Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Dan retired from UCAR of Clarksville. He was a member of the Fort Campbell Masonic Lodge and a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Evon Roberts of Clarksville, TN; two sons, Richard Anthony Roberts of Clarksville, TN and Daniel J. Roberts of Fort Irwin, CA; two sisters, Anna Marie Kulback of Dixon, MO and Ruth Ellen Hawes of Hopkinsville, KY; a brother, Steven Ray Roberts of Owensboro, KY; and five grandchildren, Nathaniel James Roberts, Michaelah Michele Roberts, Braxton Hankins of Clarksville, TN, Daniel J. Roberts II and Jessica Lee Ann Roberts of Fort Irwin, CA.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Chambers, Travis Vasquez, Hank Yoachum and Mike Harvey.
