Newsome, Edward ‘Preston’ of Burlington, MA made his transition on Wednesday, May 9th at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. He was the only child of Virginia Newsome and was born in Wilson, NC. Eddie lived most of his adult life in Burlington, MA. He is survived by his life partner, Virginia ‘Ginny’ Allen and his four children Anu Prestonia, Linda Carter, Weldon Newsome, and Jeffrey Newsome and his six grandchildren. The wake will be held on Monday, May 14th starting at 2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral at 4:00 p.m. at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. ( Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain. Relatives and friends are invited.
