Richard J. Lamarche, 70, of Allenstown, NH died May 6, 2012 at the CMC following a period of declining health.
Richard was born in Lowell, MA on December 8, 1941, the son of the late Rejeanne (Turcotte) and Gerard Lamarche. He was educated in Lowell and was a supervisor at BeeBee Rubber for many years. He met his wife Janice whom he married in 1977 and they became a family with 9 children. They had resided in Merrimack for over 25 years.
Richard was an avid sports fan who enjoyed traveling, trips to Mohegan and donating his time to St. John the Baptist Church soup & sandwich program. Most of all, he enjoyed his time with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who will be sorely missed by all.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Armand (Emile) and Normand Lamarche and his step-son William Atkins, Jr.
He leaves behind his wife of 35 years Janice (Mitchell Atkins) Lamarche of Allenstown; his sons, Richard and Jill Lamarche of Concord, NH, Gerard Lamarche of Pelham, Steven Lamarche of Ocala, FL, Christopher and Kerrie Lamarche of Lowell, MA, Eric and Mindy Lamarche of Lowell, MA; his daughters, Joan and James Morgan of Weare, NH, Donna and William Barnett of Allenstown, Sharon and Leighton Payson Jr. of Manchester; his brothers, Robert and Jacqueline Lamarche of Merrimack, Lucien and Anne Lamarche of Nashua; his sisters, Lucielle Parent of Nashua, Therese Dauth of Charleston, SC, Gertrude and Larry Finnegan of Nashua, Claire and Michael Craig of Peoria, AZ. Richard also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday, May 11, 2012 in St. John the Baptist Church, Allenstown. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
