Elmore, Ocia Mae (Hayes), 79, of Edmonson County passed away May 6, 2012 at her home. She was a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Avon after working for over 30 years as a sales represenative.
Ocia is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Elmore; daughter Pam Elmore; and son-in-law, John Allen; brothers, Jessie and Essie Hayes; and sisters, Ruealma Jaggers, Barbara Vincent, and Dessie Woodcock.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, Richard L. Elmore, Sr.; children, Deborah Watts (Michael), Teresa Allen, Vivian Crank (Mike), Richard "Buddy" Elmore, Jr., and Kim McCandless (Les); grandchildren, Diane, Tenah, Jason, Micky, Matt, Angela, Andrea, Andy, Danny, Eric, Josh, and Joey; 11 great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren on the way; brother, Athel James Hayes; and sisters, Phyllis, Margaret, and Helen.
Funeral service will be 3pm (EST) Wednesday at Patton Funeral Home, 504 Washington Street, Brownsville, KY with burial to follow in Bee Spring Missonary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 11-8 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and Wednesday from 10am until the service at 3pm at Patton Funeral Home.
