GRELAND, ANNA (Turynowich) 95 of Dorchester, a homemaker, beloved spouse of the late Charles J. Greland, died at Marina Bay Nursing Home after a brief illness.Anna Greland was born in Chelsea to the late Josephine (Kurzawa) and Bernard Turynowicz, and raised her family in Dorchester. She was preceded by her daughter Maryann Marotta of Brockton; brother Joseph Turynowicz of Dorchester; and her sisters Stephanie Symolon, of Dorchester and Elizabeth Budzinski, of South Boston. Cherished grandmother of Catherine Dineen, Arthur Marotta, Gina Marotta, Joseph Marotta and Jamie Marotta. She is survived by her son Charles Greland and wife Barbara of S. Weymouth, her sister Wanda Madej of Dorchester, and four great grandchildren. Visting Hours will be held in The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston Wednesday 4-8 P.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Gregory's Church Thursday at 10 A.M. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, W. Roxbury An expert at knitting and crocheting as well as an avid gardener who loved irises and enjoyed bus trips.
