Louise Eldridge Sexton, 83, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. J.A. Clements officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Friday evening.
Mrs. Sexton was born March 1, 1921, in Worth County, Georgia to the late Henry Jackson and Mary Ann Barbee Eldridge. She lived in the community most of her life and retired from Fitzgerald Underwear. Mrs. Sexton was a member of Dorminy Mill Baptist Church, a former teacher for the Senior Adults Sunday school class, a member of the Women’s Missionary Union and the Golden Believers.
Mrs. Sexton is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Don and Eileen Sexton, Gordon, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law: Bonnie and Randolph Spinks, Fitzgerald and Johnnie and Mike Reynolds, Doerun, GA; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; special niece and her husband: Clydean and Gene Cosper, Lizella, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Sexton.
