Marjorie L. (Tripp) Earley, 92, of New Bedford died April 20, 2004 at New Bedford Rehabilitation Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Hugh T. "Chic" Earley.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Hardy) Tripp, she had lived in New Bedford all of her life. She was a graduate of New Bedford High School.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
She was a member of the Catholic Women's Club, Daughters of Isabella and Holy Name Women's Guild.
Survivors include 7 nephews, Wayne Dupuis, George Douglas, Gary Gulbranson, Jeffrey Gulbranson, Father Thomas Rita, John Rita and Larry Rita; 2 nieces, Gail Frost and Kathleen Marotta; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was the sister of the late Ray Tripp, Merton Tripp, Gladys Douglas, Eleanor Gulbranson and Florence Crumley and aunt of the late Paul Dupuis, James Rita and Michael O'Leary.
