Onnie Mai Lyle, 80, of Clarksville, TN, died on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. She was born on June 25, 1931 in Springfield, TN to the late John and Eula Crockett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Lyle; a son, David Leon Lyle; and a daughter, Eula Ann Lyle.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 2 PM at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Burial will be in Bethleham Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield, TN. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 3-5 PM and Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 12-2 PM at the funeral home.
Onnie was a devoted housewife. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. She was also past President of Clarksville Deaf Association.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Joe Lyle and Larry William (Angela) Lyle of Clarksville, TN; a daughter, Peggy L. (Bill) Jennings of Clarksville, TN; a daughter-in-law, Judy Lyle of Clarksville, TN; seven grandchildren, Greg, Jason, Justin, Jesse, Brooklyn Lyle, Dillon Jennings, and Hannah Brooks; and two great grandchildren, Brayden Lyle and River Jennings.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
