Noella A. (Cote) Lambert 92, formerly of Brookhaven Condominiums, died Thursday at The Ballou Home for the Aged. She was the wife of the late Jean Aime Lambert whom she married June 7, 1948 in St. Ann's Church. Born in Woonsocket, August 25, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Louis Philippe and Laetitia (Guay) Cote. Noella was a medical secretary for Drs. Catello Scarano and Auray Fontaine for many years. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a graduate of Presentation of Mary Academy, in Hudson, NH.
She was the mother of Renee L. Fleuette and her husband Rene of Bellingham, MA., Pierrette L. Kelly of Rome, ME, wife of the late James J. Kelly, Jeanne A. McCluskie and her husband Peter of Warwick, and Guy P. Lambert and his wife Christine of Bel Air, MD, sister of Jean Louis Cote of Myrtle Beach, SC, and grandmother of Aimee Beam, Philippe Fleuette, Christopher and Sean McCluskie, John and Thomas Lambert, Remi Fleuette and Rema Tomka. She was also the sister of the late Juliette Desjardins, Pauline D. Cote and Dr. Arsene P. Cote.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to The Ballou Home for the Aged, 60 Mendon Rd.
