Gloria S. (Elliott) Grondalski, 83, of Worcester, died Thursday, May 3rd in Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her husband, Stanley P. Grondalski predeceased her. She leaves many nieces and nephews including Carol G. Courville of Worcester. She was predeceased by a brother, Francis Elliott and two sisters, Ida Cutting and Laura Oulette.
Mrs. Grondalski was born in Worcester, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Pelkey) Elliot. Gloria worked for over 30 years at various area shoe shops and retired from Capital Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church, the AARP and Bet Shalom tenants’ council where she volunteered in the office.
The funeral is Monday, May 7th with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street. Burial with follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, Boston, MA 02210. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
