Dr. Lewis Raymond Ireland, 74, of Clarksville, TN, died on May 2, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on December 14, 1937 in West Branch, MI to the late Clyde N. Ireland and Arma Albright Ireland. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ouida Frances Ireland.
Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 1 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Paul Eaves officiating with full Military Honors. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 3-5 p.m. and Monday, May 7, 2012 from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Lewis was a decorated retired Lt. Col. with the U.S. Army, having served two tours in Vietnam. He created a consulting business and provided project management training internationally. In addition, he authored several books on project management.
He is survived by three daughters, Dee Ann Ireland of Clarksville, TN, Mona Patrick of Charles Town, WV and Sandy Ireland of Bowie, MD and a grandson, Jeffrey Parry.
