CONCORD, NH – Beatrice (Rose) Jacinto, wife of the late Joseph Jacinto, Jr., died at the Harris Hill Center in Concord, NH on May 1, 2012.
She was 83.
Formerly of Taunton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Butler) Rose.
Educated in Taunton schools, Mrs. Jacinto was a homemaker for most of her adult life.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Aaron Jacinto of New Bedford, three daughters, Cheryl Laughlin of Concord, NH, Holly Carter of Abington, MA and Melody Hampe of Boston; fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Beatrice and Joseph raised three of their grandchildren, Desirae and Destiny Jacinto, and Nicholas Hampe, all of Taunton.
Mrs. Jacinto was also predeceased by a daughter, the late Rebecca Jacinto, and a brother, the late Francis Rose.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, May 5th at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church, Taunton at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 4th from 5 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
