Jane M. (Blood) Greene, age 64, of Brockton, died April 23, 2012 at Champion Rehabilitation Center, following a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. She was the daughter of the late George and Madeline T. (Patrie) Blood. Jane was born in Brockton, raised in Hingham and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 30 years. Her fondest memories were of her time spent living near Nantasket Beach. At one time, she had been employed as a Court Reporter at the Quincy Court House, but the majority of her time and energy was spent as a dedicated and loving mother to her three children by whom she will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.
She enjoyed outdoor activities; swimming, camping and fishing as well as gardening, crafts and photography. Jane is survived by her children, Darryl Blood and his wife Nicole Rodrigues of California, Rachel Greene of Somerville and Rebecca Greene and her husband Alexander Dawes of Jamaica Plain. She was the grandmother of Henry and sister of Cheryl, Susan, Mary Ann, Jeff and Brian.
A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 11am-1pm.
