Mildred F. (Hart) Hondrellis, 83, of Salem and Derry, NH passed away to the Lord peacefully on Sunday April 29, 2012 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Center, Manchester. Mrs. Hondrellis was born in Methuen, MA on October 5, 1928, a daughter of the late John and Marie (Berger) Hart. She had been a resident of Mt. Carmel for the past six years. Mildred was a stay at home mom and enjoyed Bingo, doing crossword puzzles and loved her travels to Foxwoods Casino. She had a long joyful life with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Lane) Gould and her husband James of Derry, one son, Dennis Lane and his companion Sandy of Pembroke, NH, five grandchildren, Debra, James, Lisa, Shawn and Kenny, eight great-grandchildren, Brian, Michael, Abigail, Chelsea, Oliver, Connor, Madison and Jordan, one sister, Patricia Tisbert of Salisbury, MA. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and many loving nurses and aids at Mt. Carmel. Mildred was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Lane, and later by her second husband, John Hondrellis in 1985. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Marie, Beatrice, Rita, John and Vincent.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday May 2, 2012 from 5 – 7 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Nursing Center, 235 Myrtle St., Manchester, NH 03103.
