LAWRENCE – Judy P. (Noonan) Gianopoulos, 89 of Lawrence, MA passed away peacefully Saturday morning April 28, 2012 at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover, MA.
Born and educated in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Maurice and Mabel (Metcalf) Noonan. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service in Andover; she was a Real Estate broker, owned and operated Mount Vernon Market and Family Pools and Patios in Lawrence, which allowed Judy and Charlie to spend the winter months in St. Petersburg Florida. Judy loved living in Lawrence surrounded by her children.
Judy’s family would like to offer a personal thank you to the entire staff at Academy Manor for all their exceptional care and comfort Judy received during her stay.
The widow of Charles W. Gianopoulos, Judy is survived by three daughters and a son; Sharleen A. Bistany and her husband Charles, Kathleen M. Gianopoulos, Diane M. Berry and her husband Richard and William C. Gianopoulos and his wife Cynthia all of Lawrence, six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Eric, Christian, Jennifer, Nicole and Charly and seven great-grandchildren Dennis, Matthew, Giavanna, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Cash and Marina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Judy was predeceased by her twelve brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
