Celeste “Gram” Zangari, 86, of Hedley Avenue, Johnston, died Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Hopkins Manor. She was the widow of Anthony B. Zangari,
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Assunta Campisani. She had lived in Johnston for many years. Before retiring she had worked in the jewelry industry. She loved playing bingo and poker and making people laugh.
She is survived by her daughters: Sandra Zangari and Carol O’Neill, both of Providence, her grandson, Tony Zangari of Johnston and her sisters Angelina Petrone, Anna Caccia and Marguerite Mooney all of Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Peter Campisani.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 11:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. Please omit flowers.
