Rita A. “Red” Roderick, 93 of Westchester, Ohio, died Friday after a brief illness in the Heritage Spring of Westchester, Westchester, Ohio.
Born in Springfield, she lived in Ohio for the past 12 years and formerly of Everett. She was the daughter of the late Laura (Glazier) and Giovanni Chillemi.
Rita was a Seamstress with the former June Sportswear in Boston for 20 years and retired in 1975.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Devoted mother of Joseph Vultaggio and his wife Dottie of West Chester, OH, and the late Leonarda and Josephine. Also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and 31 loving great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sister of Junette Santelli and her husband Anthony of Woburn, Charles Chillemi and his wife Vera of Somerville and the late John, Concetta and Amy Chillemi and Frank Sammatarro.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-9.
Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
