PALMER – Mary (Cole) Ferrando, 76, of Palmer and a former longtime resident of Springfield, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012, surrounded by her family at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Ludlow on March 10, 1936, a daughter of the late Maurice Cole and Stella Monnette Picard. She leaves: her children, Susan Salame and her husband, Michael, Robert Ferrando, Jr. and his wife, Beth, Kathy Ferrando and her husband, Eddie Clark, Debbie Aickelin and her husband, Ron, and Scott Ferrando; and her grandchildren, Scott Salame, Ryan Salame, Bobby Ferrando and Daniel McCarthy.
