Mona F. Fagan, 74, of Derry, NH died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at her residence after a lengthy illness. Ms. Fagan was born May 23, 1937 in Boston, MA and was a daughter of the late Alfred A. and Kathleen (Nugent) Fagan. She was raised and educated in the Boston area, and was a graduate of the Boston University School of Nursing. Ms. Fagan lived most of her life in the Boston area, and worked for many years as the charge nurse at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston. She was also a Lieutenant in the US Navy, and served as a Navy nurse in Japan, during the early stages of the Vietnam War. She loved to read, shopping and enjoyed restaurants.
Members of the family include many neices and nephews.
A graveside service with Military Honors was held Thursday April 26th at 10:00am at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA.
