Obituary

Kevin F. Flaherty 59, of Bridgewater died quietly April 19, 2012 surrounded by his family in Brockton Hospital. Kevin was born in Cambridge to the late Kyle and Marguerite R. (DiDio) Flaherty. Kevin was a resident of the former Paul A. Dever School and most recently resided in a group home for independent living in Bridgewater. He lived with many challenges many of us will never experience and maintained a wonderfully social nature as well as a good sense of humor. He found laughter and enjoyment in the antics of the Three Stooges, the sensitivity of Mickey Mouse, the wonder of Santa Claus and the never changing Pillsbury Dough Boy. And his challenges never stopped him from enjoying the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
He is survived by his sisters Kyle Caissie and her husband John of Jacksonville, FL and Maryanne Frenette and her husband Richard, Sr. of Brockton; his nephew Richard L. Frenette, Jr.; two nieces Katie Russell and her husband Jason and Kylee-Anne Frenette; three great nephews Luke , Kevin and Anthony three great nieces Rebecca, Marissa and Aubree-Rose.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday April 26, from 12-1pm. A graveside committal will follow in the Massachusetts Cemetery Bourne at 2:15pm. Where he will be buried alongside his parents.
