East Bridgewater - Michael F. Eldridge 32, died unexpectedly Monday April 23 in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.
Born in Brockton he was the beloved son of Wayne B. and Angelika “Gail” (Hofmann) Eldridge.
He was a lifelong resident of East Bridgewater, had attended Southeastern Vocational High School, and had worked locally for several years as a landscaper.
Michael especially loved the “outdoors” and spent many hours fishing and camping.
In addition to his loving parents Wayne and Gail Eldridge, he is survived by his sister Melissa Sullivan and her husband James of Hanson, his brother James Eldridge and his wife Brenda of Middleboro, his grandmother Ottilie Cunningham of Plymouth and his uncle Rev. David B. Eldridge and his wife Virginia of RI. He is also survived by his much-loved nieces Olivia and Ava Eldridge. He was the grandson of the late Francis Cunningham and the late Marion Alger.
His services will be held Saturday April 28 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9 AM in St. Bridget Church, Abington. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held Friday April 27 from 4-8 PM.
