Robert P. King, 54, a resident of Mansfield for the past 13 years, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Sunday April 22, 2012.
Born in Boston, MA on December 31, 1957, he was a loving son of the late William J., Sr. and Ruth L. (Molloy) King.
Rob grew up and was educated in Wakefield, Saugus and Winthrop. He had formerly been employed for over five years as a docket clerk for the Law firm of Foley and Hoag in Boston, and had also formerly worked at Jack Young Auto Parts in Allston.
A member of the Screen Actors Guild, Rob enjoyed quiet times spent at home; which included listening to music and he was considered to be quite the “movie buff“.
He was the devoted brother of William “Joe” King, Jr. of Reading, John M. King of Gardner, Patrick E. King of Franklin, Paul F. King of Worcester and Maureen E. Doiron of Gardner. He is also survived by his cherished 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday May 5th from 1:30-6:00 P.M. at the American Legion Post, 37 Ash St., Reading. Rob’s family has requested that those attending please dress casually.
