Obituary

Louise B. Franz, 102, a life-long resident of Lawrence passed away peacefully at the Franklin Transitional Care in Franklin, Massachusetts.

She was born on May 28th, 1909 in Lawrence, daughter of the late Frederick and Louise (Wegscheider) Franz. Louise was educated in the local schools of Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.

She worked as a stitcher for the Wood Mills and later she worked for the Lanam Club in Andover, MA.

Louise was a founder of the Franz Acres on Arlington Pond in Salem, New Hampshire. She was also the founder of the Happy Hookers Knitting Group. Louise was very involved in the Lawrence Senior Citizens Group and was a life-long attendant of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

She is survived by
her 2 nephews Daniel J. Johnston of Norfolk, MA and Alfred P. Franz of Orleans, MA.

her niece Betty Sabatino of New Britain, Conn.

In addition she was survived by seven great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nephews.
